The 1000 Lines of Code initiative has officially commenced, marking a significant milestone in technological education for 1000 senior secondary school students in Ibadan. This initiative, spearheaded by CodeGarageAfrica in collaboration with the Oyo State Government, Zeeh Africa, and 386konsult, aims to equip 1000 students from 110 schools with essential coding skills and inspire them to pursue careers in technology.
The event, held at the International Conference Center in Ibadan from 15th July] to 19th July, 2024, includes comprehensive coding/non coding workshops, motivational talks, and mentorship sessions. The goal is to provide students with hands-on experience in coding/non code tech to foster a passion for technology.

Students will engage in various activities, including coding/non coding challenges and project development, culminating in a showcase where they will present their work. This initiative aims to nurture their interest in technology and provide them with a solid foundation for future endeavours.
