This awards program supports the strategic objectives of Operation 300 billion to drive the growth and development of the national industrial sector and comes under the umbrella of the Make it in the Emirates Initiative.

The initiative aims to promote domestic and international investment in the industrial sector.

With 15 categories under 5 main pillars – Factory of the Future, In-Country Value, Industry Enablers
and Strategic Partners, Leadership and Talent, and Handicrafts – the awards are open to any individual or entity that meets the criteria.

For the first time, the Make it in the Emirates Awards is introducing a dedicated Handicraft category to highlight fine craftsmanship and concept design.

This new category aims to promote the UAE’s rich heritage, sustainability, and ongoing development. Honoring excellence in traditional craftsmanship, the Handicrafts Award will recognize artisans who preserve cultural heritage through innovation and exceptional skill
